Thrill The World Los Angeles is a Los Angeles team of the worldwide attempt to set the new world record for the most people to do Michael Jackson’s Thriller dance simultaneously around the world.
To make this happen we will teach anyone (regardless of age, ethnicity, silliness etc.) how to do the dance. Free!
TTWLA is not a professional dance group but a team of fun loving people from all walks of life. The team was started in 2008 by Mahdroo McCaleb and Amanda Ayres. TTWLA participated for the first time in 2008 and stomped through Hollywood & Highland Center in front of a crowd of hundreds and media crews from NBC 4, KTLA 5, ABC 7, Fox 11, CNN, and the Los Angeles Times.
In 2009, Amanda led the team of thousands to dance at LA Live in Downtown Los Angeles to raise money for Inner City Arts, a learning oasis in the heart of Los Angeles’ Skid Row where professional artists teach students in a real studio environment.
2010 TTWLA Team is lead by Elena Manzanares with Joleen Nordstrom and Jeremy Stutes.
