“sEnd mE a pEnNy” How it all got started.
July 24th-25th, this 2-Day Summer Fest will kick-off with a ”Walk for Homeless“ to support the homeless in Venice Beach on both days.
The walk will be hosted by “sEnD mE a pEnNy” founder Anthony Perez. ”Thrill The World Los Angeles” will lead the walk to help raise awareness to this great cause.
“sEnD mE a pEnNy” (a non-profit organization) feeds so many homeless families, veterans and street kids from all over the world and provides clothing, wheelchairs, resources and other necessities every weekend starting from Friday Saturday and Sunday. From 9:00 am to 6:00 pm with a “PENNY DONATION” . Your penny donation makes this all possible. Please help us continue to make a difference by donating you “PENNIES”. Please join us for the walk on July 24th. All are welcome to participate. Please bring the kids.

7:00 am – Zombie practice
8:00 am – Gather “Walk for Homeless” @ Rose/Ocean Front Walk “Parking Lot” for announcements
8:30 – Walk begins
This 20 minute Walk ends at the stage at Windward Circle
9:10 – Stage performance begins with a workshop teaching all kids and adults the Michael Jacksons’ “Thriller” dance
9:30 – Announcements by Anthony Perez of founder of ”sEnD mE a pEnNy” and raffle.
9:35 – World Change Foundations introduces it’s Coin for Peace
10:00 – Free concert begins. Live music to 6:00pm
“Raffle” drawing begins at 10:30. Good luck!

RAFFLE – Your name will be added to our raffle drawing for both days in appreciation for your support. There will be two (2) drawings per day.
Come and enjoy all the food and drinks, over 20 live bands, performers, stage acts for kids and family, up to 200 arts and crafts vendors, community organizations, a Youth and Family Courtyard with rock climbing , plus a fashion HOT SUMMER WEAR show
