Things to be aware of
*ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 4PM and we are performing the 6 minute dance.
1) It will be HOT! Weather forecast says it could be In the 80’s. Bring plenty of water and if you are coming in at 11, be sure to have sun block on hand especially for the kids.
2) Plan for traffic! 3 events are happening that evening.
* Staples, 4pm - UFC 104: Machida vs. Shogun
* USC football at the Coliseum - 5 pm kick off - vs Oregon State.
* Nokia, 7pm - Concert: Echo & The Bunnymen
3) Bring snacks or lunch if you are arriving early. Also, there are plenty of restaurants near by.
How about coming to watch the gang perform at Clippers’ Half-time show on Halloween night? Or head down to Halloween on Pine in Long Beach to watch another contingent perform? How about learning a whole new routine for a Janet Jackson Flash Mob on November 14? See our event schedule for details!
** ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST READ & SIGN THE WAIVER! ** To save on check-in time, you can print, sign, and bring a copy of the form.
We will have this book break down into text on this website tonight for those who can’t open PDF.
Some MUY IMPORTANTE points from the handbook:
There are 3 events going on at Staples Center/LA Live/USC that evening so allow extra travel and parking time. We recommend people arriving EARLY. Tell your friends and family to plan to be at LA Live by 4 p.m.
Newbies (zero to one practice) should arrive by 11 a.m. to practice. Everyone should arrive by 2 p.m.
Registration will close at 4 p.m. No zombies will be admitted after that.
There is no storage area! Unattended bags are treated as security threat. We recommend coming in your costume and those coming in early can hold the make up. Plan on going back and forth to your car, bring your purse/small bag which you MUST keep on you, or bribe a friend to carry your stuff.
Parking at LA Live is $25 for event day. There are many lots in the surrounding area that offer better rates. Public transportation and carpooling are encouraged.
NO DRIPPY BLOOD! It drips. It stains. It’s messy. Use lipstick or grease paint to fake the blood.
READ THE REST OF THE HANDBOOK! Please!
Read through the Waiver. Bringing a signed copy will help go through check in faster.

We are finalizing the Thrill Day details. Please keep checking back for that information as well.
Having said that, there are some fine points you could prepare for now.
Plan to be at LA Live at 2 p.m., possibly even earlier if you need to practice/learn the dance.
Give yourself plenty of extra time for traffic and parking.
We highly recommend carpooling and taking public transportation to LA Live. The Blue Line and many MTA bus lines drop you right in front of Staples Center. A lot less hassle and a lot less traffic!
Get your costume ready! Remember, we are still doing the “Zombified Prom/Red Carpet” theme. Grab the dresses and the button-downs. Or come in as Hollywood icons or movie characters.
